Jaws!

I saw it when it came out, I was 18. About a month later I went to visit my brother. A bunch of us went to a fairly large reservoir for the day. This was in the middle of Colorado. While swimming, someone brought up the movie Jaws. Everyone within ear shot suddenly stopped what they were doing and started looking around..........

At 80 I don't ride anymore but used to run a 77 Bonnie for my last bike. Before that a 67 Daytona. Remember brit bikes were designed in 1930 England. Only straight roads were laid out by the Romans, everything else was designed by Peter Rabbit with tech assistance from Squirrel and Moose. Not made for endless freeway riding so stick to side roads and have fun.
My second street bike, I was still in high school, was a 1978 750 Tiger. After all these years I still have it.

I've seen sharks numerous times while paddling out on my surfboard. Usually in a waist deep water, I never turned around and went back to the beach over it.

I was sitting on my board one day and the water looked like it was boiling around me with bait fish jumping everywhere. I decided it was a good time to head back to the beach when they started jumping on my board.

As a “tough guy” 17yr old (at least in my mind lol) when it came out I refused to go see it-and that was in landlocked Arizona! Growing up on the shore in southern NJ until I was 12 I had a humongous fear of sharks, even disliked going out on our boat with my dad lol.

I had to wait for the movie to come out on vhs before I saw it in its unedited glory. Now I’ll watch it ever time I find it.

Here’s to swimmin’ with bow legged women.
