Just had my CS40 trigger action improved. The long trigger pull had a catch or snag in the middle which was distracting. I'm told this is not unusual. Trigger movement totally improved, now.
Anyone else had this experience?

I haven't had any problems with the trigger pull on any of my 3rdGens; what caused the problem on your CS?

timn8ter,
I asked but the smith that did the action job wasn't there when I picked it up.
The CS40 had a slight catch in the middle of the long DA trigger pull.
Now it is smooth all the back to a glass-break trigger release. Total improvement.

Probably a manufacturing burr, or maybe a little hidden stuck-on gunk.

Rarely do folks totally disassemble for cleaning, including pulling pins
and taking it totally apart...for obvious reasons...
but its not unusual to find gunk in those pin spaces,
and it can cause some odd stuff to occur.

Marlin model 60/70/795's are notorious for this...
gunk gets in the trigger pin holes and gums up the works...
a dunk in a sonic cleaner works wonders, or you can do it the old-fashioned way ;)

An inexpensive Sonic cleaner can be had at Harbor Freight,
the larger one is good for placing almost any pistol frame into...
Not having to disassemble is worth every penny :)
