Just wanted to introduce myself

I've always been an avid S&W fan, I'm more of a shooter than a collector. I've always told myself I won't have a bottle of whiskey I wouldn't drink, a gun I can't shoot and a wife I can't....well, you get the picture. I currently live outside of Nashville and work for the police department. I've enjoyed reading and learning a lot on here. Right now I don't have too many S&W's, but my prized ones are a 617-1 (8 3/8), a 686-0 (8 3/8), a 625 (5 inch) and a 342, my everyday carry gun. Prior to being on the police department I have taught firearm instruction in the Marines and in the private sector but amazingly enough still feel gun stupid when I get on here and read what these older, more wise members have to say...ha. Nice meeting ya'll
