A few years ago I purchased a model 19 combat 357 that is class A factory engraved, with a factory letter. At the time the gun had what I thought was white plastic grips only to find they were in fact elephant ivory. Problem is,other than being ivory, they are a completely nude women. I have replaced the grips with what the factory letter said it should have and somehow lost the ivory grips when I moved. I recently found the special place I had put them. Can somebody tell me if I can sell the grips . I can send a picture but not post it.

What Can I Do With My Ivory?

The ivory ban passed into law in 2016 makes it very difficult to sell elephant ivory. But generally, with a few state exceptions, you can legally sell ivory intrastate (within your own state borders). Interstate gets to be much more difficult.

I did read in the link above that it is legal to donate or gift ivory items. But that won't help your wallet any. Good luck.
