Great gun at a great price. I love the ".22 Combat Masterpiece" (the name the factory ascribed to the 4" target sighted K Frame 22s - as Alan noted above), especially the ones with the proud front sight pins.


When the factory assigned its guns model numbers, this one became the Model 18.
One note - the screw on the side plate behind the trigger guard with the flat head is the screw that typically goes on the side plate under the right grip. The one behind the trigger guard is typically a domed screw (like the one on the side plate above and in front of the trigger). My guess is that the domed screw is under the grips - they are easy to swap with a correct fitted
screwdriver.
