Was looking at a K22 that had TT,TH , were any shipped with this option. This K had 1-line address, 5-screw frame and I belive match # grips . I have heard that TT,& TH were made much later and thus add on's , is this true ? Comment was made to me that the case harding on TT,TH was like new , while I was looking at it. Is somebody blow'en smoke here ? This happend at a local gun show .

Target Hammers and Triggers....

Target Hammers showed up first, probably around 1950, but before 1952.

Target Triggers were a few years later, but before 1956.

If it is a scarce one liner with the large ejector knob in good shape, depending on what you could get it for, it would be worth converting back if ALL numbers match. Big Larry:):):)

If I could ask what would be a good price ? Thanks for all the answers , Greg . P.S. finish and overall aperance is 95-98%

Like I said. Depends if it is a earlier one with the large ejector knob. One liners tend to bring around $700+ and I don't really know the values of the "transitional" large knob. They are fairly scarce and I think they are the "Holy Grail", or so I have heard. I have a 98%+++ # K 4339, and I don't have a clue as to what it is worth. I paid $850 for it in a beat up gold box. Problem with these old K22's is that you may see one for $400 and another for $800. They are all over the board. In your case it may take over $100 to make it original again. Big Larry

Thanks , Big Larry , gives me an idea of what to look for & and price range to work with . Again, you guy's are the best , Greg

Picked up a 5 digit 5 screw late 1947 one line K22 today for $650 in the original box,
I fealt it was priced a tad low side for its condition including the original gold box,
Unfortunately no docs or tools and no large ejector knob.
Good luck with your search.
