K38 Masterpiece 14-2 6 inch in box, found today!

Found at my local gun shop. From an estate of a collector.Looks new, in correct marked box with tools. I believe it has been fired, but not much.

With serial number K587925, I am guessing it is 1964 or 1965. Anyone have the book to look this up? Thanks for the help.

P.S. Paid $475 for it, a great price from what I am seeing.

Yes it is, mariog. I can tell you I paid a heck of a lot more than that for my 14-2. AND it was represented as being ANIB but with incorrectly numbered stocks. Well, the "incorrectly numbered" Magnas were not even period correct. They were from the post-1968 period. I still don't have the right stocks for it. Right now it's wearing a pair of service stocks from 1931.
Congratulations on your purchase! You could sell it to me for a profit and we'd both be ahead!
