Texas state Senate, voted with out debate and passed to the House, a bill that would make it a crime for a governmental agency to post a no carry sign. Interesting.
This bill would make any governmental agency that prohibit the carrying of a concealed handgun in areas where licensed Texans should be allowed to carry them. Licensed Texas people with concealed permits etc. The idea is those of us with the license to carry are being prohibited from our 2nd amendment rights.
I'm curious about this one. Currently we are prohibited from conceal carry when we go in and renew our vehicle registration, for example. Ridiculous.
I'm wondering about the County Court House when we go for jury duty, to get a marriage license etc. We currently are prohibited from there.
It would be a fine, starting at $1500 per offense up to $10,000 on repeat offenses.
This should prove interesting.
