Sen Bauchus has a bill in the works to control all components of reloading as well as commercially available ammo. This is according to the Washington Post.
Helps the bottom line.Yes, because as we all know, criminals are big into reloading.
In my home state of New York, under current law, all in-state ammo purchases will require a NICS check as of Jan. 15, 2014.
And since it will cost as much for a check to buy 1 box as 1000, people will start buying in large quanitys. This will of course alarm the political class who will fear wild eyed knuckle dragging gun nuts are stocking up to revolt. And then naturaly they will want to pass laws restricting the amount of ammo you can buy at one time.
Face it. They just don't feel safe with us being armed. It scares them not being totaly in control of the serfs. (us) If we'd just shut up do as we're told we'd be so much better off. And no doubt happier. They may not be able to forbid us arms. (yet) But they can make it as difficult as possible.
Since when does a NICS check cost anybody anything?? It's a phone call, usually only a few minutes. No fee.
