Knife + handgun photo thread

Some of what I put together.

First off, I just buy the pieces and cut out and fit the handles. Then stain and finish and assemble. I dont use any power tools either. Just a saw and files and sandpaper. The only power tool is my drill. A few of the blades are rust blued also. Nothing to fancy but they are sharp.
There's 2 walnut handles and the rest are curly maple.

Chubbo, besides your great firearms & blades, I really like your display cases!

Thanks

Bill:
Thanks, for the compliments. I'v made many, presentation cases of wood. I started making them for hand guns, that had their factory made boxes carelessly thrown away. It's been many years ago, since arthritis, diminishing eyesight, and all of the maladies, that have beset me since reaching the age of eighty seven, have kept me from making those wood cases. My dear wife, the same age as Me, and I, are trying to keep active, by celebrating our sixty seventh wedding anniversary, this evening, alone, at a local Bar & grill. Pardon the long winded story, and Thanks for sharing.

"Chubbo & Hezzy"

First, congratulations chubbo to both of you! Here's wishes for many more.

The Kershaw Shuffle II is a good, useful EDC blade. One of its best points is its ~$17 delivered price tag. If lost or confiscated (e.g. TSA) you won't get as worked up as you would if the same thing happened to your Chris Reeve!

And chubbo I know many more are possible as I have an uncle in Peoria that will turn 106 on Sept. 2!

I'm another one who admires chubbo's great handcrafted display cases, as well as his nice collection of guns and knives!!

Congratulations on you anniversary, Chubbo, and keep showing your wonderful cases!!

I just found this thread, and there are some awesome photos of awesome guns and knives here!! I thought I'd show a set that are always packed in my "kit bag" ready to go anywhere I go (as long as I'm nit flying!!). But I rarely fly anymore, so I like to keep these two with me....although, if I'm going to camp, for example, I'll probably be packing more choices along... Anyway, I keep a couple of boxes of .22 LR and these...just pulled them out and shot this photo:
