I'm A 2nd and 3rd gen sicko. Anyone else on this forum have one of these? I've seen the "KY Ballistics" guy on Youtube (who is A former KSP officer) say that he couldn't find one for sale ANYWHERE regardless of the price. I love having this in my collection but I would also like to have the version without MIM parts.

Yours is in much nicer condition than mine is. But I've always loved the 1076, ever since I fired my first one all those years ago.

1076 here isn't KSP version although I did seriously look at those around 25 years ago when there were a few more in the wild. There were some CHP 1066 that I nearly bit on as well, being a 3rd Gen fan boy here too...

I love these series smiths. I had a 1076 and foolishly sold it to a fellow LEO when we traded our 645's in for glocks. I'm looking for another but the prices after shipping, tax, 3.5% for using your card, transfer fees and NICS is discouraging. Hopefully I'll find one locally.

honestly if I didn't live in KY I would probably have no issue trading this one for a regular version. I'm hearing more and more from trusted sources that the MIM parts don't really matter much but, I do prefer the look of the non-mim parts.

yes sir I was fortunate to find (2) 645's in the wild , and this KSP 1076 was offered to one of my friends that has no interest in smiths ad he was nice enough to give the guy my information. I got the gun , 3 total mags, and 250 rounds of handloaded high quality 10mm for 1100

Yes, the KSPs became available from Bud's Gun Shop perhaps 15 years ago. At the time I thought I was paying too much

My original 1076 came to me in 1993

I cannot believe I can not find a photograph of it by itself. I will correct that in the next week or so by shooting a new one

They are not going to get cheaper than they are today.. unless you find that needle in a haystack that the seller does not know what they have.

I briefly owned a KSP 1076 (I live in KY) but a previous owner had almost completely removed the KSP logo so that took a lot of the fun out of it.

I had one years ago, I bought it from a company called ky imports. I paid about $285 for it. I sold it for the same price a year later, I kinda regret that….

It shot well but at the time magazines were hard to come by and finding good ammo for it was a challenge. I hadn’t started reloading yet so out it went. I finally replaced it with my 2nd 10mm last year with an Xten Comp.
