Is it a scratch or just a little kydex being rubbed off on the cylinder? It's kind of like a shoe scuff on the floor. some of the material from the shoe was deposited. The floor wasn't actually scratched. I get this asked of me alot. If kydex is scratching the finish, you may have a crappy finish. Leather will actually mar the finish quicker than most other types of materials used. You might try wiping out your holster(no matter the material the holster is made of) with a damp cloth to remove any foreign object that may have collected in it. Holsters need a little tlc too at times.
