Much prefer the K/L grip size. Make one version a full under lug with gold bead front and polymer ivory stocks in 3 and 5 inch length barrel options. Just to make more old school a Tyler T grip as well. Prefer the bead blast finish but would buy both in any case.

I'd even take one in 44 Special. Seems to me S&W makes a ton of models that I honestly see very little practical use for, but have no interest in a gun like you describe that a million outdoorsmen could use for a lifetime. Go figure.

Here's my old 696 no dash. A really nice five-shooter. Yup, you've got to wonder what if .... Would folks buy enough of these to make producing them viable?

Now have the Model 69 and really like it.
