What's a reasonable price on a 1989 model 36-4 2" LadySmith
new in the box, perfect, with all documents including sales receipt, unopened tools, all original including the smooth rosewood grips, from the original owner?

In my area, $400-$500. It may be more or less in other parts of the country.

If I need to determine a price, I get on Gun Broker. Compare exactly what you have or want to theirs. (condition & features) Look at what guns ACTUALLY SOLD FOR! This is only a guideline. I refer to it all of the time. May be a good tool for you! Bob

Checking the "sold" side of GB as suggested by bananaman is good advice although I think GB tends to be higher priced than most local markets due to the large number of folks buying there. I sold one as you describe for $400 several years ago so would think something north of $500 would be reasonable now.
