Layaways….

I like a layaway for two reasons:

1. Smaller amounts, less noticeable and painless.

2. If I'm paying for one, it throttles me some from buying another.

It's all psychological but it seems to work.

I hear you , I've bought quite a few on lay-away . It's easy on the wallet and I've been able to buy PC guns I otherwise wouldn't have been able to buy .

I sometimes wonder why more online/GB dealers don't offer layaway. I often make layaway availability part of my search for a particular model gun. I'm usually willing to pay more if the layaway terms are generous enough.

I've done layaway, when I didn't have the funds available for something. Usually on a desirable used gun. better to hold it and have it eventually than let it go.

New stuff, I only buy when I have the cash readily available. If it's readily available, not worth it IMHO.

There's a seller very close to me who has an indefinite layaway option. Pay off within the month. Any extra month adds 3% to the balance. I haven't bought from them yet. I usually pay mine off within 6 weeks or so anyway.
