Let's see some 22's

This one is way too funny not to show. After I did it I just left it so I can look at it from time to time for amusement. That is a faux silencer. I wouldn't do this to one of my Smiths.

M41

The M41 barrel was vented by Eric Kovachic at EWK Arms, excellent work and the reblue of the barrel after the machining... the quality speaks for itself on how well it matches the rest of the gun.

Posted this one in another thread hereabouts, so skip if you've seen it before.

I have a K-22 Outdoorsman I believe to be a 1st Model. Serial 653xxx. Family lore says my grandfather carried it in a holster under the seat of the cab he drove in the 30's. It has holster wear to the bluing at the muzzle and the cylinder so I can believe it. I learned to shoot on this gun. Grandpa could hammer nails with it. I wish he had lived longer, I could have learned a lot about shooting from him. He came from a rural background and took his rifle to school every day and shot for their dinner on the way home (try doing that nowdays!). He took three bullets with him and his father was very unhappy if he didn't bring at least one bullet back home.

Sorry but those pistol hangers always make me cringe. I really dislike anything but bullets, jags and nylon brushes in the bores. 22's especially, are meant to be accurate, the first thing those hangers do is rub on the crown before contacting the rifling
Nice little 22 collection though
