Well all know, love and even hoard Smith & Wesson .22 revolvers from the earliest top break .22 shorts, on up to today's Model 617's.

Well, how about a little phot0 thread love for our OTHER .22 revolvers!

Here are mine:

Here's old faithful. The first gun I bought many years ago. 1000s of rounds through it. Accurate shooter but horrible double action trigger. Single action pretty good.
High standard double nine.

Well, I guess I'll be the bad guy and post the first Taurus of the thread. :D

Here is a thread I could overload, but won't. I just love to play with .22 handguns and I have a very hard time passing up a good deal on one.

Here's my first. My Dad bought it for me when I was 14. Ruger Super Bearcat. Me and that old Ruger traveled many miles together on my Uncles farm.

This H&R 922 belonged to the above mentioned Uncle and was one of the first revolvers I shot.

I picked up this H&R Sportsman a while back. The above mentioned Uncle had a close friend that had one, not this one, and he let me shoot it a lot when we were together at the farm. When I saw this one it brought back all the old memories and I just had to have it.

I had a dozen 22 handguns, most of them revolvers not too long ago, including both a Model 17 anda an 18. I'm down to just this one now.

I know you said revolvers but I cant resist. .22 LR Hi standerd HDM.
This is a blood gun. A deputy friend found it on top a filling station roof after a guy killed a station owner with it. He caught the guy and the judge gave him the gun after the trial. I traded him out of it. I later found the old ivory grips abd added them.

looks like the dan wessons are popular with this crowd.
I had been looking for about three years for a .22 to add to my D.W. collection. this one is a 10" bbl. with a sun shade over the front sight.

That's cool! Really cool that you still have the box for it too - kind of rare for a gun that wasn't even top shelf at the time it was new, much less holding on to it all these years. The only gun I still have from my childhood is a 20ga JC Higgins pump gun that killed many a bird and rabbit.

Some very nice revolvers indeed. Thanks to everyone who took time to post pictures.

This old 22 is like some of the girls I used to date- too heavy, too short, not very popular but fun and reliable. Shot it yesterday, good little kit gun.
