We see a lot of beautiful guns here. We have folks worried about slight blemishes on their guns.

But there are a lot of badly dinged up guns, guns with signs of hard use or screamingly terrible maintenance, that are perfectly useful but ugly as sin.

One of mine is the 1917 below: at some time in the last 100 years, it fell on some hard times. It’s ugly as sin; it has no original finish and a ton of corrosion, but it’s right at home in a saddle bag or a tool box. It shoots just fine: it’s a real truck gun.

Let’s see your ugly guns!

I don't have many, but there's not a ugly one among them.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Not the worst I have or have had, but one I have a pic of anyway.
Colt New Service from 1905 (IIRC)
45 Colt caliber
Great bore and action the outside not so great.

It just looked lonely sitting in with a bunch of plastic wonder pistols at show a couple yrs back, so it came home with me.

I have a Stevens Favorite in 25cal somewhere that is really a rusty pitted end to end with broken tang garden stake at best. But I think I can save it,,it's a good project.
The lever works!
I'll get it out and post a pic or two.

A friend gave me a bunch of pistols and parts a few years back. Most of the pistols were missing parts, but this one was all there.

It's a Dan Wesson Model 14-2. It has no finish, lots of dings and cuts, and is missing both grip medallions. It had black electrical tape wrapped around the grips and covering up the medallion holes. It's tight and shoots fine, but its had a rough life for sure!

Here's my pair. Scarring on the alloy, and rust on the wheels, LOL. I RB'd and bobbed the M12 myself. The BG is stock. Just good scrubbin', cold blue, and effort, LOL.

I'm seeing lots of fine looking guns on this thread but to me the unugliest of them all is this Excam 22. Accuracy and resale value aside, I'm loving this one.

Most of us probably don't like to admit it but don't we all love ugly guns? C'mon guys, keep em comin...

Of these two guns of mine, I don't know which is uglier.

This one is my main carry pistol. I gave it the name, "Butt Ugly."

This revolver is so light, it's painful to shoot. My wife loved it until she shot it. But when we bought it, she liked it because, "...it's light, fits my hand, and it's pretty." I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, the faux pearl plastic grips, plastic looking black, and those gold plated appendages...I gag. I call this one, "The Beast."
