Liberal interview with Dr Rice

That was a lot of fun to watch. She did remain very cool, and she has several billion working brain cells that the student did not have access to.

On another note, I recall her being glad that B.O. got elected. An intelligent person like her getting caught up in the whole racial thing kind of turned me off to her.

Having said that, I would much rather have her in the White House than the "apologizer-in-chief"

As I would have expected.
Nothing left of the opposition but a greasy spot.
But that usually is what a true professional leaves behind.

I would love to see Dr. Rice run for POTUS, especially against Hillary.

Rice's early years:

Rice started learning French, music, figure skating and ballet at age three.[6] At age 15, she began classes with the goal of becoming a concert pianist. Her plans changed when she realized that she did not play well enough to support herself through music alone.[7] While Rice is not a professional pianist, she still practices often and plays with a chamber music group. Rice made use of her pianist training to accompany cellist Yo-Yo Ma for Brahms's Violin Sonata in D Minor at Constitution Hall in April 2002 for the National Medal of Arts Awards.[8]

High school and university education
In 1967, the family moved to Denver, Colorado. She attended St. Mary's Academy, a private all-girls Catholic high school in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. After studying piano at the Aspen Music Festival and School, Rice enrolled at the University of Denver, where her father both served as an assistant dean and taught a class called "The Black Experience in America." Dean John Rice opposed institutional racism, government oppression, and the Vietnam War.

Rice attended a course on international politics taught by Josef Korbel, the father of future Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. This experience sparked her interest in the Soviet Union and international relations and made her call Korbel "one of the most central figures in my life."[9]

Rice graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1970. In 1974, at age 19, Rice earned her BA in political science, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Denver. In 1975, she obtained her Master's Degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame. She first worked in the State Department in 1977, during the Carter administration, as an intern in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. In 1981, at the age of 26, she received her PhD in Political Science from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Her dissertation along with some of her earliest publications, centered on military policy and politics in Czechoslovakia.

Clinton's early years:
As a child, Hillary Rodham was a teacher's favorite at her public schools in Park Ridge. She participated in swimming, baseball, and other sports. She also earned many awards as a Brownie and Girl Scout.

+1 Barb! The video clip is a good example of what happens when you try to ambush somebody who is a LOT smarter than you are and who actually knows what they are talking about rather than what the media feeds you.

We need Dr. Rice.

Rice states that growing up during racial segregation taught her determination against adversity, and the need to be "twice as good" as non-minorities. Segregation also hardened her stance on the right to bear arms; Rice has said in interviews that if gun registration had been mandatory, her father's weapons would have been confiscated, leaving them defenseless against Ku Klux Klan nightriders.

I voted for CR in the last presidential election and hope she is on the ballot in the next.

Wow! Chris Matthews ran a very short clip from this, selected to make Dr. Rice look bad of course, and then commented that she "went ballistic". Another talking head corrected him but it was yet another clear example of the bias rampant at MSNBC. I tried to find the segment on their site but my browser kept locking up on the site. Maybe somebody else can find it.

I just loved the way a hush fell over the crowd as she really got into answering that pinhead's question. That's respect with a capital R.

Wow, I liked how every one else in the room gradually shut the heck up as they realized she actually was saying some thing.

gosh, a college suicide bomber,, his talking points were gleened from the main stream media.Ms Rice got hers from being there.and having acess to all the intel the U.S. has gathered for 200 yrs.

In his head, there was no doubt. Remember your late teens and early 20s? Invincible, smartest guy on the planet, with all the answers to the hard questions.

I was surprised to realized by the time the mid-30s were upon me, that I had no ideas of what the actual QUESTIONS were, let alone the answers...

great clip, thanks for posting.... and I'd seriously consider her for any office as well. I think she's smart enough to stay away from the snake pit though.

She did seem very level headed and I really liked her untill she said she was "glad B.O. got elected", it makes me sick to see people jump on the black bandwagon just for something so insignificant as the color of a person's skin.

That quote by Condi is really sad and disappointing. This is news to me.I thought she was a lot sharper than that.

Is this comment in the video..? I viewed it and didn't hear that said. Maybe I missed something.

If not, how about a link to the quote. Thanks
