Dang it, I was down to only watching 2 TV sows this year. Longmire, and 24. And at this rate, I'll have nothing to watch next year. Figures!

I liked and will miss Longmire. The only other shows I watch are Banshee, and Ray Donovan. Both are worth checking out if you haven't.

Really bad screenwriting.

I watched a season-and-a-half on Netflix before I finally told my wife I'd rather sort brass.

My feelings exactly. Got tired of Longmire being the only person capable of solving crime.

I watched season 1 and 2 after the recommendations here. I thought that the stories were interesting, but the firearms handling and realism was atrocious. The person who was the armorer for the show knew little about firearms.

If you want to see proper 1911 handling, watch the Jesse Stone series on Netflix.

Longmire seemed to be one of the only current shows that tried to explain Indian culture, both good and bad. I don't know when Season 3 will be on Netflix.

This sucks I was a big fan of this show. Watched all three seasons. I hope they get picked up. Maybe TNT will pick it up to go with The Last Ship and Legends.

Actually, I think it's about par. Vicky was Philly, and maintains the Glock she had. Walt's a Viet Nam vet, and seems to prefer hammer-down, which the character might be very comfortable with. The bumbling fat deputy is forever cocking his revolver (LOL, drives me nuts). The enigma for me is the rich deputy that ran against Walt. Carrying a Sigma, of all choices! I would surely put a Sig in that character's hand! Or perhaps a nickel-plated, gold-engraved Smith revolver?

I very much like those insights into native culture. I finally learned what 'counting-coups' actually means, LOL.

I've given up on Netflix, and had good luck here, where you can catch the last season in-the-can..........
