checked around and can't seem to find one that says it will work with an MP40. Some of the ones I thought were universals list models at the manufacturers sites and the MP's aren't listed.

Get yourself an UPLULA Universal Pistol Loader. Best mag loader I've ever used. They make several different models so be sure you get the correct one.

I will second that. The best in my opinion, bar none.

Thanks. I looked into it and they seem to have hundreds of 4 star reviews and they're not that much more expensive than the cheap ones.

The Magula UpLULA is a must have for semi auto owners, I would keep one in the car and one at the house. No sore thumbs or fingers using these great loaders, it is the greatest first gun accessory you should get besides a holster!

My UpLULA loaded thousands of rounds during a weekend training course a couple of years ago. It was new and unknown then so I left it on the table for others to use. Single stack 9mm and .45ACP M1911 magazines, 9mm and .40S&W Glock, SIG, and HK double stacks all the same weekend.

I use the UpLULA for my 380, 9mm, 40S&W, and 45ACP. Works great on all of them!

That's the one. I have two. One for my full size models and the minilula for my bersa thunder.

Some recommend loading the first round by hand and use the loader for the rest to protect the follower. I have never had any mishaps but it sounds good.

The Uplula is a must for a semi auto owner. There is no comparison with other mag loaders.

+1 on the Maglula Uplula! You can get them at www.botach.com for about $26, no tax, no shipping. They are fantastic. I didnt really need one until I started loading my .357 sig ammo. Those necked down cases are a pain to put in as the mag gets full.

The UpLULA works like a champ. Been loading mags for years with my thumb and bought an UpLULA several months ago - Finally, an invention that lives up to its billing.
