Looking for a source of S&W Manual

Greetings, I am a new member of the forum who recently purchased an S&W 39-2. I'm looking for a source of a manual with operating and maintenance instructions, that includes an illustratied parts breakdown, so I can learn to safely use the weapon and take proper care of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. New, used, or reproducation manual is acceptable.

Your best bet is to post a "want to buy" ad in the proper section of the Classifieds here on the forum. I would also check eBay as there are always manuals for sale there and the 39 manual should be easy to find.

This has the entire thingy I like it because my old model59 is very similar to the 39 series! Great guns in fact it was my first semi auto back in 1982 before that it was all Colts Ruger and Smith & Wesson revolvers, but as you can see from my signature I am nothing but semi autos now!

Just found out about StevePages.com, what a treasure trove of manuals!

But when you try to look for anything Smith & Wesson related, you are
greeted by a warning;

I have been contacted by Smith & Wesson's attorney demanding that I remove all Smith & Wesson manuals from stevespages.com.
So, if you are disappointed at this decision made by Smith & Wesson, take it up with them, not with me!

What is up with that?

Not sure but you may try S&W site and see what you find. I just went and pulled up mine
