Lost Pin

I was installing my new takedown and pivot pins. The follower pin that holds the pivot pin took flight. Still looking in the general area. How far could this have flown, and can I order a new one if necessary?

I found one on Midwayusa.com from DPMS for $1.99, this should fit, right?

Installing "new takedown and pivot pins?" If the detent came out it was under a lot of spring pressure and probably long gone.

Not sure what you found at Midway. The detent ("pin, straight, headless") is the same part for both the front and rear pins on the M16/M4 though.

On Midway, it is called a pivot pin detent pin. I'll order a couple @ $1.99 I might as well have a few. It is stated as "Milspec" so I'm sure it'll fit. (I hope)
