I have several 625s but they are not all 45ACP, some are 45LC
My oldest one is from the original run of the Model of 1988s. My Uncle was the first owner. It came to me in 1996 that is when I changed the grips and cylinder release. This was my first pin gun
That same year the Performance Center released the 625 Hunter. When I first saw this guy I just said WOW The story was that these were designed for a European Distributor but 50 of them remained in the US
My second one was purchased the following year. It is a Mountain gun chambered in 45 Long Colt. The blue 45 Long Colt Mountain Gun joined it in 2004 when they were first released. These were not bought with a specific purpose in mind, I just thought they would be good field revolvers
Also in 1997 I bought my 625 Light Hunter. It is chambered in 45 Long Colt. The day these came out the one my dealer had was serial number CLT0003. I bought it, but I like serial numbers so we called the Distributor and asked is serial number 45 was available. That is the one pictured here, a 625 chambered for 45 Long Colt serial numbered CLT 45
When the Performance Center introduced the 625 V-Comp to us, I grabbed this one. While chambered for 45ACP, I fired 45SUPER through it. This became my new pin gun
Then the Factory produced a run of Scandium framed Pug Nosed snubbies and I was fortunate enough to grab this pair chambered in 45 Long Colt. I do not doubt the stopping power of these little guys
About 5 years ago I stumbled on one of the 3" 625s chambered in 45ACP. I always wanted one of these but never found one for sale when I has some cash in my pocket
This last one is a 5" 625 Classic Hunter chambered in 45 Long Colt. This is another one that I always came across when I had no money in the pocket. It all came together about 4 years ago. This is another that I had no special purpose in mind, I just wanted one
YES, I Like 45s
