This is my favorite rifle I have killed quite a few deer with it. I shoot it a few times throughout the year just to stay comfortable with it. I shoot it suppressed with a trijicon. I've got about 350 rounds through it. Now it's starting to misfeed damage the cases not fully seed in the barrel. Can I send it in to have it looked at for a warranty?

It is almost certainly a magazine issue. Has the magazine possibly been dropped? Buy a new magazine and the problem should go away. It could be a problem with your reloads too, but most likely not.

We need a lot more information to diagnose your 308 AR malfunction here in cyber space! magazines, I hope you have several good ones?, I like the Lancer mags honestly.. you don't mention cleaning or lubing your suppressed rifle?? I would buy a good brass chamber brush, us CLP or similar to give the chamber a good scrubbing.. while you are at it, clean your barrel and BCG.

Suppressors are very dirty, and are often problematic, how does your rifle function without the suppressor?? how many rounds did you fire before you suppressed your rifle?? how many rounds since suppressing it?

308 ARs like lube, lots of lube, dripping wet, don't believe that garbage about running your large frame AR with no lube..

So give it a good scrubbing, and pull that suppressor off before sending it back to Smith and Wesson, return your rifle to factory specs,, they frown on people messing around with their guns.

Join 308AR.Com if you dare,, LOL

Anyway, if you intend to operate a 308AR, you need to educate yourself, but before you go:

Are you shooting reloads or cheap mil-surp? use good clean factory ammo to start

Have you cleaned and lubed your rifle?

Report back with definitive answers, we will help you get your rifle running,, but be aware that 308AR's are notoriously hard on brass, dented case mouths and marking from the extractor and ejector are common.

I saw a YouTube video with a similar scenario. He said his problem was the gas system. He ended up drilling the gas hole in the barrel to be slightly larger

I’d be reluctant to drill on a barrel. I’m betting crap is partially obstructing the gas system. AR’s crap where they eat and dirty ammo and a can will make it worse. Since it had ran well I’m betting dirt or a magazine.

Yes, it's likely you may need to open up the gas port, large frame AR's need lots of clean, unobstructed gas to function, lube it up good to carry away all the debris.. As I stated earlier, you need to check out 308 AR.com and do your research before attempting to drill your gas port,, its not difficult, but it is critical that your gas port is matched to your BCG, spring and buffer, 5.3 to 5.6 heavy buffers are a starting place.

It is all part of a system, and needs to be lubed, (especially during break-in), lots of lube, dripping wet, kept clean, (especially the chamber), do your home work, there is NO MIL-SPEC for large frame AR's, as there is for the 5.56 AR! So, educate your self...
