Finally got my jard trigger installed gun would at first only fire once then not fire a guy at the range helped me adjust the safety allen wrench screw that is toward the back and for a while it would cycle fine. I dont know if the barrel is getting too hot or what but I am running winchester m22 ammo and the stupid thing wont cycle right after a while or at some times...i noticed it wont chamber smoothly when i go to charge the gun using the charging handle sometimes too.

so cycling is still an issue and im not sure if this has anything to do with the trigger at all it is the first time i fired the gun ever.

kinda wish i didnt get the adjustable jard bc for noobs like me it makes things confusing...should have gotten non adjustable

Take out the Jard trigger and reinstall the stock trigger. That is the only way you are going to be able to ensure your rifle functions like it should. Also make sure when you are loading your mags that the rounds are staggered.

It's normally pretty good advice to get used to shooting a new gun for a while before making any changes. That way, you learn what you like / don't like before making what may be unnecessary changes / upgrades.

Yes, your Jard trigger is improperly adjusted and not allowing the trigger to reset. Adjustments need to be made in VERY SMALL increments.

NEVER start changing out FCG parts before getting completely familiar with the stock setup.

Yes, the adjustable trigger are not for those not completely with the functioning of the various parts of a FCG.

i had a problem with my 15-22 this week as well, but it had nothing to do with a new FCG. the chamber was dirty, and it would not allow some ammo to go into battery.

i usually only clean the bolt carrier group on my ARs, and I've been doing the same with the 15-22, however i guess the 15-22 is more prone to a dirty chamber since 22lr ammo is generally more dirty than .223/5.56
