M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Any Milspec stock will fit the 15-22, you probally didnt pull the locking pin down far enough to get it on. Magpul stocks are very popular among the 15-22 owners, I have the CTR stock and love it.

Yeah thats what i think happened. It was the guy at the gun store trying to put it on. He looked liked he was having trouble with it. Im going to try again and do it myself. Thnx

Here's another of mine, I took this one because I got the new carry handle and I mounted a tomahawk on it . Colored in the m&p 15 and used a black crayon to kind of make the 22 not visible. Hopefully gonna get an m4 contour groove on my barrel done by BELT_FED.

15-22 is almost finished, orders are placed and parts are being shipped. Will post updated pics. as soon as parts arrive and are installed. Here is a pic. of my current work in progress.

Keepin' it super simple

is the hand guard a bolt-on?
Are all ar-15 hand guards able to be just bolted on?

No. The barrel nut on 15-22's are proprietary. You have to remove the standard barrel nut, and replace it with this. From there, you can attach any standard/non standard barrel nut that will attach to your chose of rail.

My repainted 15-22

Refinished my furniture with Krylon Satin Paint + Primer in black. Really happy with the durability of this paint. Way better than the Krylon Fusion for plastics. Getting ready to add my 3-9 x40 BSA and either a 45 degree mount for the red dot or mounting the red dot on top of the BSA. Not sure which route I'll take yet.

Finally got around to installing this new flash hider on my 15-22.

I picked one up new last week, ran 400 rnds through it, and then started bolting stuff on it! The xtm covers needed to be trimmed back and sanded to be flush with the forend. The cover next to the Gear sector front ling mount needed cut in half to keep things lined up. (clean em up with some 400 grit and round the edges off and they look factory) The B.A.D. lever took about 5 min to put a couple bends in. Wrapped it in leather to keep from scratching it. It works perfectly (like the one on my .223) No need to alter the rifle in any way. The A.R.M.S. #5 scope mount is solid. It would be better with throw levers. I really like the BU sights on this. CCI mini mag shoots one ragged hole all day! Love this .22!!! I need about 10 more mags now! I know this all sounds like a big run on sentence but, you guys already know how much fun this thing is! I'm having a blast with it!

What going on guys, just found this website and I didnt realize the 15-22 was a big sucess... Im seeing alot of nice guns on here! Guess ill post a few of mine.

..........and yes scope is kinda a overkill, but its great for spotting and its pretty accurate at long distance with the good ammo. Glad to be a part of a great website with some nice hardware.

I'd love to know, just for reference, what size that scope is? Looks like a 50mm objective?

All I have left now is a JP Trigger for christmas. I am hoping to get the SSAR15 stock for the Bushmaster and crossing my fingers it will work on the .22 after a new trigger.

Recently added MidWest Industries buffer tube ambidextrous sling mount and had my sling altered by a seamstress to get it fitting perfect.

Taking these to the range in an hour or so....
