Finally Got here...

Well i've been Lurking this thread for quite sometime even before I've been a member. Im Glad I can actually Post something up.

Picked her up last Night, going to Range this afternoon.

My new toy

Finally got my M&P 15-22 and a couple of new extras were on the front door step when I got home. I also ordered a few extra mags and will be adding a new stock and Magpul Back-Up Sights in the near future. Also hope to put a few hundred rounds through it this weekend.

Made a Couple Changes...

Posted a few of mine a couple weeks back, and made a couple changes & corrections as a result of the great feedback I got. Apologies if there's a limit on pics...couldn't decide which to post. I love this rifle!

Thanks! And no...they're there "just in case". Which is almost laughable. Even more laughable is that I almost bought Troy's version. The flashlight is a $40 single LED flashlight that Home Depot sells (LED Lenser is the brand) mounted in a modified NC Star flashlight holder (longer screws were needed). It's a serious flashlight. Maybe not "tactical", but it works very well.

Finally got a few pics of mine I picked up last of September. Got about $250 worth of goodies added to it including about $70 freight for 5 shipments! Gonna get a MOE stock next.

my MOE

This is a fun little gun, I added a few extras on these two, one belongs to a friend. They have JP triggers, and Comp. I upgraded the stocks with Magpul ACS. They both Have EOTECH's. The triggers are great a big improvement over stock.

How accurate is your's at 40 yards?

I've been getting 1"-1 1/2" 5 shot groups at 40 and 50 yards off bench rest. Seems like about every 15 shots, I get a 2" flyer!! That's probably me. So far I've only used Win 555, CII Blazer, and Rem Golden Bullet. No problems with Rem Golden Bullet.

I like hearing your not having trouble with the Golden Bullets, I have 3- 555 boxes of them.

And the family gets one bigger today. I opened my big mouth and told my daughter about the pink camo 15-22 that is out now. So of course we had to stop by our favorite local gun shop on the way home from the club. And of course we walk in the door and there on the wall is a shinny pink camo S&W 15-22. Me being the sucker that I am let it follow us home like a lost puppy.

She loves shooting the 15-22 and when she gave me those puppy dog eyes and said really wanted the pink camo one, what else was I supposed to do?

Unless you had a round in the chamber/or had cocked the trigger via the charging handle, you couldn't have put the safety on. It physically won't go there.

Updated. I Rit dyed my foliage Magpul furniture black, painted it to match the gun and Picked up a PA Micro. Love it and will paint it in the next couple of days:

Here's my lil pea shooter... It follows the KISS principle. The only mods are an Ergo Grip, TruGlo Reflex Sight, AO outdoors "same plane" rear sight, FDE rail panels, True Shot Technologies flash hider, homebrew trigger job with take-up set screw, JP hammer spring and bobbed hammer.

She's a sweet shooter and a blast to plink with.

Not as sexy as my "real" setup but it makes a good trainer. =)
Primary arms micro dot came in, Magpul BUIS, and B5 sopmod stock.
Also added the JP reduced power springs for the trigger and will be dropping in my spikes battle trigger group as well.
