Well done! How much of a pain is it to get approved to make it into an SBR?

True Glo 2X red dot, A-2 birdcage flash suppressor, tacticool 22 flash suppressor adapter, GPS 02 grippod, Comando carry handle, Promag carry handle mount. All I need now is some rail covers!

yo hows the eye releif on that scope? i just bought one like that but it wasnt an ncstar. i mounted it as far back as it could go and i still gotta really get up on the scope to see threw it and i had to take my rear iron sight off to make it go back further. thinking about returning it to get another one but idk yet

yep eye releif aint great, it is what it is, i just wont spend a lot for a 22 so its staying on.

How do you like the Tacticool thread adapter? Is it a tight fit on the barrel?

I was skeptical about buying it at first, but I am very pleased with it. Fits very nicely on the barrel. Just be sure to use locktite on the screw for the adapter and use some on the threads when you put the flash hider on.

Thanks! I am still researching the legality of putting the thread adapter on my 1522 because Connecticut only allows threaded barrels on pre-bans and no flash hiders - only muzzle brakes.

I have been a long time reader, however a first time poster. I have been a long time 10/22 owner and shooter. I would have sworn by my 10/22 until today.

After wanted to get a new rifle, I spend a few weeks researching the best bang for my bucks. I looked at many .22 conversions before settling on the S&W M&P15-22. Mostly due to the posting on these forums and videos on YouTube. I broke down yesterday and bought a 15-22 at a local dealer.

Right out of the box it was amazing. We put 500 rounds down range with one malfunction.

I will post new pictures after some upgrades arrive.
