M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

wife's birthday present - I have about 30+ photos and also a few range videos but I did not think you all wanted to see that many pictures. If you want some more just let me know and I will post more up. I bought this through my local dealer as a gift for the wife. They did an amazing job on everything. Came out better then I planned. Wife loves it! Lots of fun. Now I just need to get myself a rifle so I am not always shooting a pink one. :)

Please list the mods you have included on your build, to include the brand name of the case you are using. I am always on the look for items and one of these days when my money is not so tight I am going to work on mine. Nice job!!

That's great thanks. I thought it might be that, but could not figure out how you got rid of the lines. Duh. Thanks.

Awesome shots there! I am a professional photographer myself and definitely appreciate your photos!

I realize on your more recent shots, your key light is warmer than your back light. Are you purposely having different colored white balance light for these shots?

I also like the earlier sets where you either snooted or gridded the key light for that spot light type of effect!

Great job on the exposures!

Geez, you even make Glocks look good! Fine work. Very nice how you share your tips with others.

Makes me rethink my photo Christmas cards.... ;)

Greetings,
I try to mix up the lighting a bit depending on the weapon. As far as white balancing is concerned, I try to standardize the white balancing but believe it or not, the key light is producing a strong secular reflection off of the weapon and the color of the metal and coating is actually casting the warm tint. I love using grids and spots and as you know, it's much more difficult to light properly opposed to using a soft box!
Thanks for your positive comments.

You are so correct! Glocks are very difficult to light and look good. Thanks for your comments!

Just curious: Do you personally own all these weapons, or do people give them to you to photograph for them, or...?

I happen to own all of the weapons posted. I am considering offering my services for both gun collectors and enthusiasts alike. I am a perfectionist and one that focuses on detail. I have a passion for creating weapon systems by adding accessories and doing modifications that truly function. I also pay very close attention to the asthetics and style. This is one of my passions!

Stock Choice

Waiting to pick my M&P from the supplier.

So far I have ordered:

Magpul:
-AFG
-PTS RVG
-XTM panels
-PTS MOE trigger guard
-RSA sling adapter

Other:
-2 point sling/1 point sling
-UAG CQB red/green dot
-Tacticool22 barrel shroud
-Plinker Tactical Charging Handle

Which stock is recommended the MOE or CTR? They are hard to get in Canada as they are restricted.
