Parts for USA made guns are hard to buy in England so we have to improvise!!
The pins are made out of M4 caphead screws, the plain body of a long screw is about .0004 down on size.
The head is turned down and a groove cut in the other end to take an E clip.
They work well and cost not alot.
Parts from the US in England are generaly double what you guys pay.

Is my Optic in a good spot since I'm not using a magnifier? (Primary Arms 30mm red Dot with cantilever).

All things being equal the further back a RDS is, the faster you can acquire it. If you aren't going to be running a magnifier ever, then you may as well pull it back to the rear sight, or maybe one rail slot in front of it.

She'll love it, Bill. Heck, I am a 46 yo grown *** woman and I love mine! LOL I need to post some updated pics. Installed the black stock that came off my AR and I love the way it looks.

I just recently became the owner of a really cool rifle so I liked to share a picture of what I've done with it so far.

I'm new with AR Style Rifle's is there anything on this that looks stupid? I want to know before I take it to the range. I don't want to look like an uneducated mall ninja.

I'm not sure on accessory placement and all that. My first rifle was a 10/22, so this platform is new to me.

My 15-22 is finally done.. here is how it looks at the moment. I was lucky enough to have a buddy give me a brand new CTR Stock/Like New Forward Grip. He gave me the MIAD but I didn't care for it, it also took some modding because of a spring on the M&P15-22 so I went with the Overmolded MOE Grip (No mods needed).

Mostly what I have at the end of my bottom rail is what I'm concerned about. It functions as a finger rest/hand stop. Does it look ridiculous?
Sights aren't on backwards..They co witness the optic.

Going to get more Magpul XTM Covers and ditch the 2 pieces of UTG near the magwell..

By the way I like the Magpul MOE+ grip. It feels like a hogue to me (it's over molded)



Anyone else have a 15-22? It's funny a rimfire can make anti-gunners uncomfortable...
The rest of my standard capacity magazines come tomorrow.

Very good looking and respectable set up! Flip up sights are on the right way and your red dot is in a good position. You'll see that most of us have it mounted right above the mag well which is where you have yours. Very nice set up and not overdone.

how long did your form 1 take? i have 2 more in the NFA line, last one took exactly 6 months got March 8, Gemtek Trek Ti, 5.56. They are backed up big time.
