M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Picked up a new mp15 couple days ago. Can't wait to see it at work.

Fun to own, upgrade and shoot!



You may have noticed I like dark earth....that is a Firefield 2.5x10 with a laser on the side, I also have a cheap flashlight mounted forward. The scope came with the gun; I have never heard of them before but I like it! I installed a GG&G sling adapter to switch to a single sling attachment; it is just behind the pistol grip on the buffer tube. I also installed a JP reduced power spring set and polished surfaces for a lighter and smoother trigger. Works! And the Magpul MS3 sling tops it off very well. With 5 25 rnd mags (2 sets doubled) we are ready for whistle pig season!

15-22 MOE edition, with AFG2 and SPARC added. Barrel cut to 4.5".

Hi All this is my second build (Yep Sold my first one )

This time around I thought I'd try to keep it simple with the add on's and not spend more than what I paid for the 15-22 in add on's and it still came in around $225.00....

Used E-bay and original mfg's when needed

Parts:

• A2 Rear Sight (came with Scope mount!)

• NcStar laser(green)/ light (130 lums) combo
• MI rear QD mount
• Generic Front QD mount

• Magpul QD sling 1 to 2 point sling
• 7- 25 round mags (total 8)
• 1- 10 round mag

What carry handle did you choose - I've been wanting to add one to my 15-22 but most of the reasonably priced ones seem to have horrible reviews - mostly problems with the sight holding adjustment.

My 15-22 as of now. This has to be one of the most fun rifles I've ever shot and I've fed it nothing but **** so far and it still holds up amazingly. I have a tacticool barrel shroud, canted flip sights, and ambi charging handle in the mail. Still need to flip the safety to the other side, being a lefty is annoying sometimes.

I know, I need to find a good deal on 5 or so. Also have my ruck sack in the mail, I'm already tired of carrying everything in the case and don't want to sacrifice my EDC/BO bag. You wouldnt happen to know how to flip the safety selector to the opposite side would you?

Easiest option, change it to Ambi Safety. 54 USD from that side the pond.

Decided to mess with the rattle cans again. This was my sample gun to see if I want to do it to my mk12'ish build. Needed to do the brown a little darker on the bolt open side, but I am satisfied with how it turned out.

Changed it up a little already, ditched the caa grip with light for a magpul and put a little BSA sweet 22 scope on as well as canted flip up iron sights. I also put on my tacticool shroud

good choice, that is what i use, the mesh is a little finer, plus you can make it larger by stretching it out a bit.

Thank you. I used krylon camo khaki and brown. I used a laundry bag and some broom needles in a couple areas

I hear you on being skeered. I used my 15-22 as my sample/test run for my SPR build I want to rattle can. Now that one is tough to rattle something that has nearly $3k into it.

This one is next if I can get myself to do it.
