M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Great job on your unique look. The grip got my attention. I am looking for that mod. I looked it up on Midway, great reviews there. I am a lefty so I have to be careful; it is the same configuration on both sides? How do you like it?

Thanks for the compliment SHOOTER, I tried to do something a little different and stay within the budget ;). Yes the configuration is the same on both sides, but haven't had a chance to try it yet at the range. Have been handling it here at the house though and it feels good. The price was right, $29.95 W/free shipping from BotachTactical.com. :D

My MOE edition 15-22, version 2.0

Weaver picatinny riser with tall rings underneath of a Nikon Rimfire Prostaff 3-9x40 BDC.

Truglo Trubrite reflex sight on top of an NcStar 45 degree rail.

Four 25 round magazines, I just ordered a 10 round magazine thinking it would be the shorter version... Ended up being a pinned 25 round mag  So I sent it back.

Magpul AFG2.

Streamlight TLR-1S.

To answer your questions, the Grip is for both Lefties and Righties, with no differences on either side.

The cool thing about the UPG-16 Grip, is that it comes with 3 Finger Grip Pads and 3 Palm Swell Pads, to provide you with a Custom Grip Fit. I've got one installed on my 15-22, and it's extremely comfortable. I have Hogue and Pachmayr Grip Sleeves on other Rifles, and the UPG-16 is by far the most comfortable for me. Shooting a 15-22 is definitely FUN... but when you add the UPG-16 Grip, it becomes MAX-FUN!

I hope to pick up an AR-15 next month, and if it happens, I'm going to order the UPG-16 for that one too.

Cheers!

You're gonna love that StrikeFire! Did you get the Red Dot, or the Green/Red Dot? I have 2 Green/Red Dot Scopes, on my Sig 522 and my Hi-Point 995TS. EXCELLENT Scopes!

Here's a HINT for you..... If you're ever out and about at the Range, and you notice your Dot has disappeared, before you change out your Battery or think your Scope is dead, first make sure you didn't hit your NV Button, on the left side of the three Control Buttons. The Top Button Increases your Dots Brightness, the Bottom Button Decreases your Dots Brightness, and the Middle/Left Button is your Night Vision Button. This will make your Dot disappear in the daylight, but will be somewhat visible during nighttime.

If you accidentally hit the NV Button, just simply push it again, and the Dot will reappear.

Enjoy! I always do!

Cheers!

Thanks man! I bought the red dot only. It's really bright on 3rd setting.

Just got the A2 sight and the slip over flash hider put on. still got a short list of to do things for this rifle. just as i originally thought that the A2 sight and the flash hider would be a tight fit with both of them on, there is less then a centimeter seperating the two, but I think it looks good, flows well.
