what kind of scope is that?

yea, so if i buy a duck butt grip to replace my original one that isnt a duck butt, will it go on and fit properly is my question?
haha made me laugh, well based on the fact that like every other person posting in here seems to like those grips i don't think it would be a problem.

I think I may be the worst picture taker ever but I wanted to something of my gun. Also some pics of my "Tacti-Crayola". Decided to go with a different color than everyone else. I've always liked black and green so that's what I choose.

I've been wanting that particular grip for a LONG time! I was curious as if it was a snug fit to the 15 22 or if it sticks out witha gap as some other grips do behind the thumb placement. Of course I'd have to get the tan color for my rifle, but I LOVE how the UPG 16 grip has a two tone color scheme to them. Dark tan, with lighter tan for the custom front and back straps. Of course the OD Green is the same way of being two tone as well. Isnt the black slightly greyish as well on its two tone?

what shroud did you buy and where did you buy it at?

Here are mine S & W MP 15-22 and MP 9 mm para

Due Dutch regulations the stock has to be fixed it's not allowed to move, can not see why I think has to do with hiding under a coat or something but that's the regulation.

Use a cheap but does the magnifier and a dot from GSG still looking for a new one but like everyone do not want to spend more on a dot then the riffle costs (Im still Dutch).

On my last visit to the states and bought a Surefire 6P CAA mount

Also attached a cheap foregrip which also do the trick.

Still had some lying arround railprotectors fit well but do not want to look for so long the Magpull Rail Panel will not cost me a fortune over here.

Regards SmithieNL

Hi SmithieNL,

There's a chance that next year the 'verschuifbare' stock will be free from restrictions. With pain in my heart, my Magpul CRT stock was glued permanently on the buffer tube
last Saturday. Once my M&P 15-22 is fully pimped, I'll post a picture of it.

By the way, I guess we're the only active Dutch members on this fantastic forum.

Cheers, Hillwalker

Magpul goodies version + RVG and Ladders
Eotech XPS2-1
Primary Arms 3x w/ QD mount
Streamlight TLR2-S
Blackhawk Storm XT Singlepoint Sling
LaRue Clips

Only thing left is a few months wait on a tax stamp for a suppressor, and maybe the Eotech flip to side. I'd planned on getting it originally but missed the sale I found so figured a freebie PA would do the trick until I get around to it and it's worked out great. I'm also talking myself into Tacticrayola for a little more flair. Gotta love flair!

Many thanks to the forum regulars and visitors who helped me learn about this fun little hobby.

Mahalo!

This has to be the sweetest 15-22 i've seen

@Hillwalker: i'm dutch too ;) (the news about the fixed stock is great)

Sup all. Just picked up my 15-22 this past Saturday. Hopefully I'll get to try it out this coming weekend.

Took off my Primary Arms Multi-Reticle Red Dot and put on a Center Point 3-9x illuminated Mil-Dot from Walmart. $55 scope, but I decided to go with a little bit nicer mount, so $60 for the mount. Kinda goofy but whatever.

Started as the MOE version with MOE grip and MBUS sights.
Swapped out the MOE stock for a CTR so I could get the rear sling swivel.
Added two Midwest Industries sling swivels to the front, one on the side for transport and one underneath for shooting.
5.11 sling
Magpul AFG
Ladder rail covers
Primary Arms 1" scope mount
Center Point 3-9x scope

Just got mine, serial number is a DTZ. Any way to tell from the serial number when it was made?

It looks like the previous owner flipped the front sight around. Any idea if this will cause any problems? I don't think it would as long as the post is centered. Personally I kinda like the look.

I can't wait to take it to the range tomorrow and deal with some pesky laptops that have been bothering a friend of mine.

I bought my DUU 15-22 about 2 weeks ago now and I love it. As you can see I bought a bunch of junk to hang off it which I enjoy very much.
I have more stuff coming from CTD any day now and I will post updates when they arrive :D.

Mods so far:
UTG Flashlight and red laser
Walther PS22 Red Dot scope
Mako folding foregrip
UTG Shooters bi-pod

The S&W is my second firearm. My first I bought about a month ago. It's a Ruger M77 mkii "frontier" 300wsm.
I just took an iphone pic of them side by side to compare the ammo

How do you like the Walther sight, and the UTG bi pod?

I was thinking of something similar for my 15-22.

The Walther sight seems to be very high quality. The bi-pod is a little rickety and some of the paint is starting to chip already. But it still works great.
