Thank you! So easy to do! WE took a mesh laundry bag and used the krylon camo tan and camo grey. Just went to town. Took about an hour to do the whole rifle. Then I shot it with matte clear coat.

What scope is that on your rifle? Also, how do you like the scope? I'm looking for a scope if that style for my rifle.

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking here, particularly in this sub forum. Learning as much as possible about the M&P 15-22 prior to purchasing one. I finally got one and thought it would be a opportune time to make my first post and introduce myself. Here it is:
I had my heart set on a MOE version in FDE, waiting patiently for my FFL/Dealer to get one. However when I saw this one in real tree camo. I just had to have it
300 rounds thus far of CCI mini mags all flawless, going to try Federal bulk tomorrow. My only plans to enhance it are a PA micro RD, a simple 2 point sling with a rail attach sling mount up front. Moe VFG in FDE and FDE magpuls. I am also looking to getting a coupler for 2 mags and looks like the consensus I have found is the Pro Mag polymer one works well for the 15-22 mags.

but still here is mine. Also include my fairly new SIG 2022. Love the forum and all the help here.
It's a Leatherwood CMR 1x4. I think its a great scope. Clear glass, good turrets that you can zero. Has an illuminated Mil-dot reticle. BDC if you want to use it. Holds zero very well, but I do baby my rifle. I sighted it in at 100 yards and that is about the limit of good groups. Much beyond that it would be just hitting targets, just not enough magnification.
Leatherwood has a great name and history to the company. I did alot of research before purchasing a scope. I got alot of good advise from the optics talk forum. I purchased it from SWFA along with the PEPR. It's on the lower end of the price scale for quality optics. I think it was $259 plus $60-$70 for the PEPR.

I am also looking for one of these. Very nice, Boxer. I think mine (if & when) may have fold down sights, angled fore-guard, possibly a red-dot. I want to keep it pretty simple.

Thanks, I already got the MOE vfg and PA RD installed. Waiting on my MidwayUSA order to come after the holiday weekend to finish decking it out. I may do the magpul fold down sights too but right now will make do with the stock ones.

Anyhow... I'll make a contribution to the thread since I got busy with my art set the other night. Reverting to childhood coloring can be oddly entertaining...

We used to call them grease pencils in the Air Force.
Great for using on checklists, acrylic boards for aircraft status updates, etc.

The boss got me a new scope, who says the amazon wish list doesn't work? I was using a Nikko Stirling 4x32 but she got me a UTG 4-16x40. I got to be honest I was a little skeptical about UTG because I have heard good and bad but I have 2 Mosin Nagants that have them as well and if it can take those beatings then a 22.lr is no threat. I just need to figure out what color I want to add. I was thinking about urban gray.
