M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Great looking rifles!

I have a question about your Spikes version though. The RVG looks to be slightly darker. I bought an RVG for my 15-22 yesterday, and it looks somewhere between FDE and OD, and I'm really sure what to think. Are your two RVG's the same color, or slightly off?

Also, do you like the Hogue grip? I'm thinking I'll end up with that over the MIAD/MOE options.

Thanks!

Bone stock, right out of the box. Actually thinking of keeping it that way, just to be different. Although, on second thought......I really like the tacticrayola treatment.
And just FYI, the magazine is not all the way in.

I agree. Sometimes simple and clean is just better. IMHO

I love it...What is the name of the barrel shroud you bought from belt_fed? It look oversized in diameter.

Anyway, you have one heck of a gun there. One of the better ones I've seen on this forum. :)

Thanks. I'm not sure what he calls that shroud. I found a picture of that one somewhere, sent it to him, and he said he had one in stock.

Posted a pic a page or so back of my rifle, and the one I just picked up for my Dad for Father's Day...but here's a better one, from the range yesterday:

Hey Brian, I've never really understood the stubby foregrip. Why did you decide to put on your your rig? Does your entire hand fit on the grip?

My hands are huge, so they don't fit well even with the other foregrips. They are typically longer, but thinner in diameter (which is less comfortable). The Tapco is a little thicker.

I always use it with my hand kinda half on, half off...thumb and index finger on the rail, pinky and ring finger on the foregrip.

The AFG2 makes more sense for me now...it's the same grip I used with the Tapco, but made for it.

I just added the AFG2, and left the Tapco on (for now). I like that angled grip a lot (maybe wish it was a little wider and longer, though).

Alright, I finally feel as if I can post a pic of mine. Actually, this is my first post ever on here, although I have been lurking for a while.

I just picked up the 15-22P today and put a few rounds through it at the range before heading home and changing it around a bit.

All that has been done to the "P" is the addition of the rail covers, a MIAD grip, and plenty of crayola. I'm till trying to figure out what I want to do for the sights on this one.

The rifle has the above listed additions, an eotech, flip up sights, magpul stock and foregrip, surefire x300, and a timney skeletonized trigger (I'm planning on adding the same trigger to the "P" this weekend).

I also decided to color code the magazines so I could take note if any of them gave me more issues than others.

Are your rear sights mounted right? They look like they are moved forward in the picture.
