M&P 2.0 significant slide movement upon trigger break

SAME ISSUE (if anyone has new info)

Hey guys, I have the 2.0 Performance Center 5" w/ a Holosun 508T. I am having the same issue mentioned previously with my dot shifting left upon trigger break. This happens no matter if the trigger is favored left, right or even upside down. My hand is not contacting the slide. For experiments sake, I pointed it downward and slowly pulled the trigger. My slide "IS" shifting right (making my dot go left upon pull). As soon as I pull the trigger my slide moves to the right. If anyone can check this and verify (point down and dry fire and look at the rear of the slide and see if it moves). When zeroing the optic I got a good 2" group @ 15 yds, however it was favoring left. I had a friend who work at the range who is a phenomenal shooter give it a whirl and he hit dead center w/ a nickel sized grouping. I'll concede and say it's more than likely cobwebs on my part, but doesn't change the fact that this thing jumps upon the pull. Any new info is highly appreciated!

I don't know what you mean by this. None of my M&P pistols exhibit any issues.

The lock up issue was a pretty well known issue for some 1.0's. The barrel on the 2.0 was changed to fix this issue specifically.

I get the exact same issue.. the new mp 2.0 with flat trigger doesn't do this however

This is very normal with striker fired guns. What's happening is the trigger bar pushes up on the striker plunger which in turn pushes up on the slide.

I would opine that if the OP's slide moves THE SAME every time he pulls the trigger...

It really shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Cheers!
