M&P 22 12 round mags in stock-Out of stock 3/18

I don't understand the process from G0G. I found a LGS on their list and emailed them about an order. Is that how it works?

Think of it this way. Davidson Gallery of Guns is a supplier that many gun shops get their firearms to sell to their customers. GOG cannot sell firearms to the general public so they deal exclusively with their dealers, although I'm not certain about items that do not require a FFL license. The gun shop buys from GOG and then determines their own selling price, which is usually less than MSRP. The easiest way to go about ordering these magazines is to go to whatever local gun shop who deals with GOG and have them call GOG and place the order for you. They items will be shipped to your gun shop and he in turn will sell them to you. There will be no additional charges for shipping, and you will only be charged the price that the gun shop charges for the item, usually under MSRP. This is the same way that purchasing a firearm from GOG works except that with a firearm you will be given a "buy now" button to click on. That will give you several gun shops in your area that deal with GOG and will show the price of the gun at each shop. You then choose whichever shop you wish to purchase from and click on the buy button. They will then take a deposit on the firearm, and arrange shipment to the gun shop that you have chosen. The firearm is delivered to the gun shop in a few days, and you go to the gun shop to pay the balance due and complete your paperwork. On the S&W magazines GOG has not included a buy now button because the practice is usually to go to your gun shop to make purchases like this. The whole Davidson Gallery of Guns idea is a great way to be able to see the inventory of one of your gun shop's suppliers to see what he can order for you. If GOG has it in stock, he can order it for you. Remember though that usually any gun shop will have several suppliers so if GOG doesn't have it in stock, some times his other suppliers might.
To find a gun shop in your area that uses GOG, do what has been already suggested, go to www.galleryofguns.com - Buy guns online, top brands, best price, best service, best warranty; all types of firearms: revolvers, rifles, pistols and shotguns. and click on the link "retailer search". Fill in your zip code, how many miles you are willing to travel, and then hit the "search" button. You will instantly be shown all of the gun shops that GOG sells to in the area that you have specified. Choose which one you want to deal with and give them a call. They can order what you want.

I just ordered three from GofG.com.

From them to my dealer to me... 29.39 each out the door.

Thanks a million for the info Charles. I've been looking for these for months...finally!

Here's how I did it...

From the GofG site, click on "Retailer Search".

Find a dealer close to you from the list that has the "Store" icon and click on it.

Click on "Gun Search".

Manufacturer: Smith and Wesson

Category: Magazines

Click "Begin Search".

It should pull up a list of S&W magazines with the 42251 listed.

Click on 42251 and it will send it to a detailed description where you can add how ever many you want to the cart.

Pay the deposit (I paid 25%) and the order is in.

The dealer will contact you when the order is ready for pickup and you will pay the balance.

Easy peasy!

That's exactly what I did and get this message:

Were you able to order it just now?

You know what, nevermind got it to work.

Was using Chrome, which I don't think is compatible. Was able to do it with IE.

This site is a bunch of thieves. $60 each for M&P 22 22LR 12 round magazines at Kygunco. They were out of stock is the scary thing.

As I posted, that is a (for me) very high price. I wouldn't say they are thieves. I did buy a gun from them at a real good price, but the down side was it did take 3 full weeks to the day for them to ship it out. They do put a disclaimer on their site saying so. Im not defending them as they do raise and lower their prices what seems like every few days. Must be a lets start high and see what happens kind of company. I did see a FS9 w/safety and a 9c on their site a week ago for $445 each w/free shipping. Thats a pretty good price in my eyes. For what its worth, the pistol arrived in excellent (new) condition.

I called KyGunCo earlier today to find out about my order. After a few minutes the lady came back saying they'd have to call me tomorrow after more research. She verified my address and everything is correct. They can't come up with a tracking number and are a little puzzled themselves. I'm guessing somehow my order got marked a shipped but never shipped. If they come back with that I'm going to ask them to cancel. Glad I went for 4 magazines from GoG last week even though the other order was supposedly on its way!

Edit: I had an email waiting for me this morning with a UPS tracking number from KyGunCo for the 2 magazines I ordered from them. They weren't sure what happened with what was marked as shipped via USPS a week ago. Other than the high price from them everything is ok with the order now.

Still no tracking. Turns out not my dealers fault actually GOG fault. And the run around continues.

Ordered 1 to go with my only other (trying to share the wealth) on 3/14, got shipping conformation 3/19.

Still no tracking number on my order placed on 3/13. Was at my LGS yesterday and asked if they would "release" the order as someone else had mentioned. The kid behind the counter looked at me funny, said he'd check with the guy in the back of the store. That guy said they never have to "release" an order w/GOG, it just gets shipped. The owner of the LGS wasn't there, so couldn't speak to him.

So...it's frustrating, to say the least. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens now, if anything. If I find the mags somewhere else, I'll order them and cancel the one with GOG.

My feelings EXACTLY! But yeah apparently the girl that I spoke with 3 separate times that day was smoking crack because no one has had to do the release thing.

Dang, missed it by that > < much. Just acquired an M&P22 and limping along with 1 mag.

Thanks to your posts my desktop now has permanent GOG search window for 10/12rd mags. When's the next shipment??? I need to go home sometime.

Does anyone know if there's a higher capacity mag available, seems like my one mag is empty before I get started.

I think 12 is the highest. Just keep checking back. They restocked like 20 times in 4 or 5 days. I can't imagine how many they sold in those 5 days. Oh also the wait still continues for the tracking number. Why did I order 6 mags? Now that they're out of stock it kinda makes me glad? This ammo shortage is turning me into a hoarder for **** I don't need.

Went to GOG and setup an account by starting an order for on an in-stock gun then logged out to cancel the transaction. That got me an account and username/password. Did some searches and tried selecting my fav. gun shop and wasn't listed. Called him only to find out he had 20 12rd mags in stock.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????? Yes I'm feel'n lucky today.

How much are they?

Hey guys - I'm a first time gun forum poster
I picked up a M&P 22 last week and have been looking for mags for the past few days with obviously no luck. I called S&W today and after sitting on hold for 20 minutes I talked to a customer service rep and ordered 3. I was told that they were out of stock - waiting on a shipment from Germany and he didn't know when they would be in. I paid for mine and they will be shipped as soon as their shipment shows up. I didn't know about the Gallery of Guns until about 10 minutes ago as I was reading through the thread.
This .22 ammo shortage is amazingly frustrating. It's easier to find rounds for my .40 - I didn't expect that.

Has anyone heard from S&W when THEY will actually have them on their OWN website for sale?
