I looked but I couldn't find what I was going to ask.

I run coonhounds and have recently bought an M&P .22 that I was planning on using on the ringtails.

Anyway, the rear sight is black and the front sight has the white dot. The problem is that is pretty difficult to keep the sights aligned while looking up the tree with the light on my head not only lighting them up but lighting Mr. Ricky Raccoon as well.

I came across a set of Trijicons that a guy took off of a regular M&P and was wondering if they would work on the slide of my .22. Hopefully, they won't have to be as lit up as well as regular sights do.

I believe they will work. I replaced my front sight with one made for a non-22 m&p and it fit fine.

They'll fit the slide with maybe a little fine sizing if needed. If you want a fiber optic set made for the M&P22 check out the Williams Fire Sights. The rear is adjustable for fine tuning.

The dove tails are different size on the standard pistols than Walther made M&P's. I installed a Hiviz fiber optic front on my .22 lr and the packaging clearly stated they would not fit the centerfire pistol.but with a dovetail file most anything is possible.
