Took her out for the first time this last weekend, she performs well. no misfires, jams or anything. Shot to the point of aim, grouped well. I like it!! This is my new IDPA, USPSA, IPSC gun. Time to dress her all up, It all how she looks on the range ya' know!!!

Congrats. I have been considering purchasing a M&P9 Pro series myself for IDPA. I was told that the Pro series guns have a lighter trigger pull than the standard, but when I looked up the specs in the S&W catalog, they were listed with the standard trigger. Can you clear this up for me?? Are they lighter or just standard?

It is a little lighter, I have found though that they really vary, I have checked out some M&P's with nice pulls and some bad. The pro is suppose to have a better and lighter pull. I am happy with the take-up and reset, also the #'s of the pull, it does have a little grittyness to it. That is the striker safety and I am going to put Apex Tactical's part in mine. i have polished the transfer bar finger. I like the gun!!!:D

Have owned and carry for work daily............(2+years)
M&P 9 PRO is an amazing firearm.......... (no competition)

Put it this way. If they would employ me I would be a rep... lol

I like mine, it is very accurate with Speer 147 grain GDHP. Recoils like a BB gun. However, the plastic fiber optic blew out after 500 rounds. I replaced it with a stock white-dot front sight.
