Does anyone know what the factory trigger pull is on an M&P Shield? I was thinking of installing an Apex trigger, but I don't want to go lighter than the factory weight.

If you go to the S&W website and choose the model you have, it will say.
The standard (Non-Mass Compliant) weight is approximately 6.5 Lbs +/-.

I believe ALL the Apex kits, reduce trigger weight to 5Lbs or less.

If not to decrease trigger pull, Why do you want to install an Apex Kit?
If it's due to 'grittiness', you can smooth everything up by doing the Burwell's DIY M&P Trigger Job.

You remove 80% of the grit by polishing the striker block, but in order to do so you need to remove the rear sight.

Some people have had many problems removing it. I did it with a brass punch and a dead blow hammer, with the slide c-clamped to my computer desk. Needless to say, your mileage will vary.

Real good advice here.

If you don't want to go lighter than factory just keep the S&W stock spring and install the DACEK kit. FSS is not available for the Shield.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I have located a M&P armorer, he said he can do the trigger job.
