This thread needs to be moved to the nursing home thread. Looks like the average age around here is the mid to upper 50s. That's half a century!
Just kidding, I am almost there too.

Thats was funny. I thought the average age would be between 23-45 to be honest. Good to see the older folks having fun shooting the rifle also.

I don't have a 15-22... yet... but I like the thread and wanna play, too!
Assuming it's a navy aircraft, with a lead catapult, naturally.Interesting. I had to ask, how do you get a lead aircraft off the ground?
If it weren't for us older folk, there wouldn't be any of you younger folk!!!
I've been shooting since long before many of you were born!![]()
Being about half of the average age here, I too was surprised at the "older" (I prefer to call them "wiser" myself) people here. I got to thinking about it though, and it makes sense. (exceptions to every rule-keep in mind) The wiser/older folks shoot for enjoyment, relaxation, and fun. Whereas us younger folk like to have the biggest caliber, loudest bang, and most expensive rifle to show off with. Honestly I personally fall in to both shooting types, hence my sport and 15-22. But for the quieter, relaxed shooting types, there's not much out there that beats the reliability, adaptability, and fun-ability(I know, I know) of the 15-22. Stands to reason if the wisest shooters like the 15-22, I made the right choice.
Love it. I'm in the same boat. Old enough to be quite a few of these guys Dad's.
