Took my Mini and Sport out to range on Monday. 430 rnds downrange in about 4+ hours.

Here is my OR. Not sure if I am installing BUIS yet. Magpul all over, stock, hand guard, sling, grip, fore grip, rails, and trigger guard. Vortex Strikefire red/green dot. Sightmark Q5 light, and AT5G laser.

How does the weight of the MI rail compare to the Troy one you took off?

It's lighter for sure, and it provides more attachment points with the key mods. I'm over it, and hardly ever shoot it anymore. I spend too much time at the 500 yard army range with my WOA 20" varmint build.

Any optic ideas, I have had a few red dots but did not like them. Looking for something good but won't break the bank
