So I just received my Deltapoint Pro and to my dismay there is no mounting plate for the C.O.R.E. when I called S&W they said use plate #2 (which is for the old Deltapoint, which is also smaller). So I called Leupold and they advised they do not have a mounting solution for the C.O.R.E and recommended getting it milled or something to that nature for a proper fit. Since Milling is not an option (against Department Policy for Duty Weapons). However I can probably alter a plate... Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions, but I just read a post about a guy that modified a plate so that it would fit the Core. Here's a link to the thread and the guys forum name is Shutr, he hasn't said how he exactly did it but a number of guys are asking him for details.
