Ok, here is the question, what's the thoughts of everyone. I have had Glocks' and M&Ps'. Each brings it's own things to the table. Which way should I go? Give me your thoughts. Thanks

That ultimately depends on your grip and sighting preferences. I have never liked the feel of the Glock backstrap in my hand. I can get a glock to sight properly, but they just don't do for me. So, if my vote actually counted (which it doesn't) I would have to go for the M&P since they are comfortable and such great shooters.

I have shot the Glock 17, S&W 99 and S&W M&P9Pro. I also carried a Glock 36 for a while. While I can shoot the Glock I actually prefer the ergonomics of either the S&W M&P9Pro or the S&W 99 - both get me to point of aim faster. For IDPA I shoot the S&W 99 for USPSA and steel I shoot the S&W M&P9Pro. The Glock 17L is not legal for either IDPA or USPSA Production class. The S&W M&P9L and Pro will be certified for production class once S&W produces the required 2000 guns.
