Just in the mood to see all of the M317's and other .22's out there...just because. Thought I'd start it with the uber-rare 2" target, pre-lock M317. Lets see yours.
I really like the 317's, the weight (or lack of it) is really quite amazing. Your 2" is awfully nice!
The 3" version is a lot of fun at the range and it usually finds its way into a coat pocket when I'm out in the woods. I've had mine for about ten years and it's my favorite kit gun variation. I found the 2" cheap about a year ago and thought it would be perfect for snakes when hunting out west. It's not like we see that many rattlers (one, once), but it was a good excuse!
Thanks mod34. It's one of my favorites as it's so light and handy, it's almost unreal. It's also very accurate and unlike others who have 317s, the trigger is not bad at all.
Tell me more about your 2" "target" 317. I've never heard of one. Were they a special run or did you have a target barrel installed?
s&wchad,
You've got the best of both worlds with both versions. I almost bought the short barrel but wanted adjustable sights and a little more accuracy for blasting these pesky squirrels around here.
Glenn,
Funny you should ask. I called SW this morning about this and am REALLY waiting for the M351C to come out. In any case, the guy answering said that they have not been given a release date yet. I'm ready when they are though.
