Has anyone had any issues with their M&P 15-22 magazines ? I have one mag that starts to have issues with FTEs with CCI mini mags, Fed 550, etc. Does S&W warranty their mags ? Is their a way to get a spring kit for them ?

What specific issues?

A FTE would be after the round has left the magazine, i.e. not the magazine's fault.

More like a stove pipe ? Than a failure to eject.

I made sure I loaded all of my magazines correctly. And used a variety of ammo and always had issues with the same mag.

I have an extra magazine that I bought at my local shop that always stovepipes using correct loading procedures as well. I have tried Winchester 333 and CCI Mini Mags and still can't get that one mag to behave. My other magazine that came with the rifle shoots fine. And yes, both mags have the "25 Round" markings.

re:

Does anyone know if they sell a replacement spring kit for them yet ?

A true "stovepipe", the ejected casing getting caught in the bolt while it is closing, is usually an ejector problem rather than a magazine problem. Failures to feed and mag snags are the magazine issues other members have had and can be related to the way the bullets are loaded.

I have seven magazines. Three of these have been shelved because of failure to feed (FTF) issues. No matter what pains I took to properly load each magazine, each one would have 5 to 6 failures to feed. I used every hint and tip from this forum to no avail. It seems that some of my mags function better than others. From time to time I'll probably try one to see if it's me or there are just some mags that function better than others. I do wonder if some of the rounds that hung up vertically in the magazine lips in the past, due to poor loading technique, have some how distorted or damaged the magazine lips to cause FTF problems now.

Again, one mag I have produces stovepipes consistently and the other doesn't. I know full well how to load magazines correctly to prevent feeding problems, it's just this one mag causes this issue and the other never fails, ever.

I loaded all three mags correctly. I did it several times over with all different types of ammo. And I had one mag consistently not work with every type of ammo. The other two mags work fine.

Sounds like S&W needs to be contacted if you ask me. I'm sure they'll fix it right up or replace it with a functioning one.

i know this sounds crazy but...take the spring out of the mag and flip it around an reinstall. i had 2 mags w/all kinds of issues and did this....worked for me.

Sounds like a good idea, I will try it ! Thanks.

do any of you have issues with once loaded...the ammo ejects itself from the top of the magazine? I loaded three 25 round magazines...laid them on the table and they started to eject themselves out of the top of the magazine...about 7 rounds each...I didn't even have a chance to load them into the gun. This happens every time I load my 25 round magazines...the ten round magazine is just fine. Any suggestions...

I have no idea, but it has never happened to me, and I slap the back of every mag on my hand after loading to make sure the rounds are al seated to the rear.

I have 6 magazines. I have shot at least 2000 rounds through them. I have never had any issues. I have used the remington golden bullet box, not anymore because the are a real dirty bullet. And I have used and currently use the federal box I get at wal mart. Much much cleaner to shoot. Out of all those rounds shot. Only one ftf. But never any magazine problems

Take a look at this thread.

Looks like some of the mags getting released are having issues coming apart causing issues like yours. One guy super glued his together.

I have 5 ten round short magazines and 2 twenty-five round magazines. With the short magazines I very rarely have any FTF's, while the long magazines are more prone to FTF's.
