The mags seem to be a bear to load.

Agreed. Using the UpLula here for my M&P 9c.
Works like a charm.

Uplula,M&P 9,40 4006TSW, and 45 M&P all load with no problems. Saves time, wear and tear on your fingers, and the extra leverage to push last rounds into stubborn mags. zorro49

Another vote for Uplula..........Midway had them on sale for around $22 each awhile back. You may wanna check on that.
