I did a search... if this has been asked recently please forgive the double post.

I can't find a single dang magazine for my M&P9 Fullsize. Anyone have any ideas?

I looked on smith's website and don't even see them listed anymore! What gives?

Look on 44mag, Cope's, Midway, Brownell's, Greg Cote and try to find the S&W SKU number. Then search by that, if none of these places have them, you may resort to CDNN for some clean used ones or place ads on the shooting forums, there will be some offered up, you just may not want to pay the asking price.

You can always backorder them at places like Midway and Brownell's, just make sure to have a card on file that doesn't expire soon, ask me how I know that one :( , and you miss out on an order.

As we've posted many times this year - Smith has told me that "there will be no magazines in the foreseeable future". Period. You may find one here and there but we aren't getting any distribution on them, and won't until manufacturing gets closer to being caught up.

I contacted Roy Oherron's about my order of 2 M&P 9 17 round mags that I have had on order since Feb. Response was that they have been calling S&W every week and have no clue when the will get any. I just sent S&W a "nice" email about the magazine problem...waiting for their reply.

I've been looking for months with no luck.

You could always go with a non S&W magazine from ProMag. They are out of stock now but are frequently resupplied. Try here and here. They are not the same quality from what I hear but are fine for range/practice use.

Oh, no one has mentioned gunbroker yet. You can find them there every day if you're willing to pay about $100 each. I'm not.

Ordered my M&P Shield 8 round mags from S&W on June 7th. Postcards came on the 12th of June saying they were backordered and would take between 4 to 6 weeks. Week 7 is here and still waiting.

No mags to be found

Single overseas mag supplier is not able to meet demand. All other gun mfrs are now caught up-M&P is the only mag unavailable. I like my M&P, but if I can't get mags in the foreseeable future, I'll shoot my Glock or buy an XD or something.

Not true. I'm still waiting on Ruger Mark III magazines.

About a month ago I got both the text and then the email notification from Midway that they had them in. I was sitting at the computer at that moment, but by the time I went to check out six-minutes later, they were gone...

Correction

Sorry-should have said "it seems that most" other mfrs are caught up. I stand corrected.

They pretty much all are or can be found with a little searching. There's some MKIII mags on eBay right now. Other manufactures using MecGar for their mags have them in stock as well and most had them all through the panic. It's mainly the 9mm M&P mags that seem to be gone or high priced. I don't think all those agencies switching to the M&P went 9mm though, which I've heard as one excuse for the shortage.

Mine have been on order from S&W since April, 2013. As with the others, I received a confirmation email and postcard. Thankfully, they haven't charged my credit card.

I was able to find two at CTD, although I dislike the price-gouging they support.

BTW, Springfield sent me 5 mags within about 2 weeks after placing an order at their store. The new XDs 9 now looks even more attractive given S&W's non-existent magazine supply. Hopefully I can get a decent trade-in price for my Shield. I would then have to figure out some way to cancel my Shield mag order.

Well if you know where the full size .40 mags are, please let me know because they are also impossible to find at the moment.

Should have been more specific, non-neutered full size mags... I'm also now in the market for 9mm full size non-neutered mags....

Just means you are not as desperate as me :)
I have a 9c just try and find anything for it less than $100 used

$100 for a used mag? I'd buy another same gun just so I can have two extra mags.
