Well I for one didn't know until tonight that it was a little bitty blender that all the college kids have in their dorms to make smoothies, etc.
Overheard phone conversation between wife and daughter tonight:
"I know you can't find your magic bullet. You left it at home
-just make due without it until you come home this weekend."
Naturally I come screaming out the back with that look of total dispair. My wife sees that look and realized what just happened
I'm embarrassed-my wife is in stitches on the floor- t'aint funny :(

I bought the walmart version of it for a third of the price, I tell you what, I know I use it more than she does. Even tried my hand at making them fancy coffee frappe' things that they love from McDonalds, and didn't do half bad at it. Sure makes a great malt!

that's funny caj

i guess the definetion of a word or phrase depends on where you are or the generation you are from

your daughter's generation term

some firearm enthusiasts..........THE all purpose, never fail, complete stopping power, one shot cartridge.

medical.. (back in the day)....a suppository

Maybe you can convince the folks at Walmart when you buy YOURS this weekend that it's for your duck boat and save the tax!!

Caj, I've go bad news for you, your daughter probably knows how to make every alcohol blended drink that's been invented. Back when my stepsis was at U of M she used to make a concoction that tasted just like a chocolate milk shake and 2 were all it took to have me trying to chat up a mailbox. Thirty years later and I still get asked if I've been dating any mailboxes.

Here I thought this thread was another JFK controversy thing...dang I am getting old

When I was in college, we didn't have smoothies, we had frozen margaritas.

When *I* was in college, we had margaritas, but none of this fancy "frozen" stuff... We were lucky to have ice for them!

(The next guy is going to tell you that he didn't have fancy margaritas, he had tequila and a lime...)

More like tequila with a worm in the bottle, if you were "que ombre" you ate the worm after consuming the contents. On one memorable weekend we got hold of some white lightning, I poured two fingers worth in a pewter mug. Thirty five years later and that mug still has a visible line where that pop skull ate the tarnish off the pewter.
